"I grew up on Race St just behind the Bailey's house. Sue Bailey and her sisters used to let us neighborhood kids play in their wood pile. I would climb up the hill behind my house, walk up McKay St, cut through a yard that bordered the Bailey's house and climb the fence that let into their yard. We could go up to the door on the side porch and get one pretzel every day."
